The first cat tree that is big enough for a cat like me!

Sometimes my old cat tree would fall over when I jumped on it. That really freaked me out! But Katpole is so strong I know it will never get knocked down – even if my little brother tries to jump on me.

The roomy hammocks are my new favorite sleeping place. Since me and my brother both have one, we never fight over our spots anymore.

First, it is good to be able to install it in a small corner. It also gives your place modern vibes with minimalistic design. The poles are strong and stable enough, Even for my 23lb maine coon cat. Silver has been using the katpole since he was born. He basically sleeps in the hammock all the time. Simply the best invention!!
I live in an apartment with four cats, and this has been my saviour. Not only does it help to use as much space as possible vertically, but it also has an accessory for each cat. One of my cats loves heights, and she is always on top. The other two like to be in the hammock together, and Nyla is already an old cat, and she loves the lower part where no one else bothers her. Kickstarter

Kickstarter is the world’s most popular crowdfunding platform. Creators can launch new products by getting financial support (pledges) from backers. Creators set a funding goal and offer rewards (like special editions or discounts) in exchange for pledges. If the funding goal is reached within a set time frame, the project gets the money. If not, no one is charged.
We are a small team with limited funding. In order to make Katpoles at a profit, our manufacturer requires a minimum order quantity of several hundred units. We are launching through Kickstarter as a way of ensuring we have sufficient demand.
To maximize our chances of success on Kickstarter, we are gathering a list of highly interested customers that will likely pledge on day 1. With enough day 1 backers, we can get to the front page of Kickstarter’s website and attract more viewers to our page. Taking deposits is also a way to gauge real customer interest and test different engagement strategies before we launch.
Yes. Deposits are refundable at any time until our Kickstarter campaign ends (we will tell you when it starts and when it’s almost finished). To get a refund, please email as at meow@katpole.com and we will process your request ASAP.

Installation

No! Your Katpole will come with the required tools, including a wrench and gloves. We do recommend having a step ladder or a stool that can help you reach the ceiling. If you have ever changed the light bulbs around your house, you’ll most likely be able to install Katpole yourself.

You could do the whole thing by yourself. However, it will be much faster if you have a friend to help you. When setting up the top part of your Katpole, stand on a stool and get them to pass you the pieces so you don’t have to climb up and down.

You must have a flat ceiling because the ceiling hardware require a flat surface to create sufficient tension. This means vaulted, dome, coved, cathedral, shed/sloped ceilings, are not supported unless you have a flat area of at least 1 square feet (30cm2). Please also note the ceiling height requirements below.

Your ceiling height must be between 7 ft 5 inches to 9 ft (226 – 272 cm) and flat. This covers the vast majority of residential ceilings around the world. If your ceiling height is greater than 9 ft, we can arrange a custom-made set for you. Please email us if you require a custom set.

Yes, Katpole is perfect if you’re renting because it’s super easy to take apart and it doesn’t leave any marks on the ceiling or walls. It’s held to the ceiling by tension alone (no screws).

Safety

Yes. We recommend removing the bottom level of platforms so that babies and toddlers cannot climb Katpole. You also have the ceiling and floor stabilizers to prevent Katpole from falling over even if someone knocks into it.
Yes! Katpole is the best cat tree for these types of cats because you can arrange the platforms to serve as stairs, meaning your cats will never have to jump to reach the top. They can easily climb up or down.
No! Katpole is designed as a full aluminum tension pole. Therefore, the entire structure requires no permanent attachments to your floor or ceiling. We also made sure it’s easy to take apart and repack so you can take it with you if you move.
Theoretically, 24 cats can be on Katpole at a time. That’s if you put 10 platforms and 2 hammocks (the max number of modules Katpole can have). However, we recommend having at least 1 hammock per cat for your peace and quiet. And if you actually manage to put 24 cats on your Katpole please send us a video and we will give you $500.
The platforms and hammock will easily support even the largest domestic cat breeds, such as Maine Coons. Even two Maine Coons on a single platform would be supported. However, the platforms are designed for cats, and for safety reasons, we do not recommend more than 40lb per platform.
